The Site may connect users with independent third-party contractors ("Contractors"). By submitting a request through this Site, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Contractors are independent businesses not under our control, supervision, or direction
• We may receive compensation when Contractors purchase, receive, or are matched to leads
• We make no warranties or guarantees regarding any Contractor or the outcome of any work performed
• You are solely responsible for independently verifying the licensing, insurance, permits, references, and pricing of any Contractor before engaging them
• We do not guarantee that any Contractor will contact you, be available, or complete any work

Any "instant quote," "instant estimate," cost calculator output, or similar tool on this Site is informational only and does not constitute a binding quote, offer, or commitment from us or from any Contractor.

• All cost estimates are based on general market data and may not reflect your specific project, home, or location
• Final pricing is determined exclusively by the Contractor following their own assessment
• Estimates presented on this Site should be used for general planning purposes only
• We are not responsible for any discrepancy between an estimated range and actual contractor pricing

By using this Site and its Services, you agree to use them only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information in any form or request
• Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to facilitate any fraudulent activity
• Use the Services for competitive intelligence, market research, or to benefit a competing business

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chicago Roof & Repair Alliance, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Site or Services
• Your submission of any request, form, or information through the Site
• Your interactions, agreements, or disputes with any Contractor
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
• Any misrepresentation made by you in connection with your use of the Site

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your use of the Site and these Terms. It is intentionally broad to provide maximum protection to the Site and its operators.

This Site is operated from Illinois and is specifically designed to serve Illinois homeowners and Illinois-licensed contractors. The following Illinois-specific provisions apply:

• Illinois residents may have additional consumer-protection rights under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act; nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable statutory protections
• We do not currently collect biometric data as defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA); if this practice were ever to change, we would provide full notice and obtain required consent in compliance with BIPA
• References to contractor licensing on this Site refer to licensure under the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); homeowners are encouraged to independently verify licence status at the IDFPR public lookup tool
• Our tools and guides reference Illinois-specific permit requirements, building codes, and insurance standards; these are provided for informational purposes only and are not legal or regulatory advice

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

• Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois
• You irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in Cook County, Illinois for any such dispute
• You waive any objection to the laying of venue in Cook County and any claim that any such action has been brought in an inconvenient forum

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time and at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

• Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms
